Each 2-hour program for children in first through fifth grade includes interactive learning, a Zoo walk, story time and a craft. All classes begin and conclude in the Cargill Learning Center. Please dress for the weather. Classes take place from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The next available date will appear on the ticketing calendar. If your preferred date does not appear, the class has sold out.
- 2/26/2022- Cold Weather Critters
>Wild animals can’t come inside during the cold; they can’t turn up their heater; and they do not depend on humans to help them. We will bundle up and learn about the animals that have adapted some great strategies for handling cold, colder, and even the coldest weather!

What do you do with your garbage? Do you just throw it away or do you recycle it? Recycling helps us make good use of our resources. We are going to get to the nitty gritty about the animals responsible for recycling!

Fish and ocean animals are fascinating creatures. We are going to investigate ocean creatures like fish and marine mammals and dive really deep into the ocean to see what is lurking out there!

Birds are fascinating creatures! Birds live on every continent of this planet, in every habitat! We will stretch our wings and learn about a few of these feathery creatures and their incredible diversity.
